The city will host and sponsor events leading up to and on Hip Hop’s actual birthdate (August 11, 2023) in commemoration of Atlanta-based rappers, musicians, and creatives from over the past 50 years.

  • This special event will feature the four elements of hip hop: DJ, MC, break dancing and graffiti art. Guests will have the chance to experience all these elements in one place - from watching professional DJs spin their favorite tunes to witnessing masterful MCs showcasing their lyrical skills, being amazed by talented break dancers showing off their moves and admiring stunning graffiti art from local artists
